[UnixOS2] Automake 1.8.3

It seems that a lot of problems have been reported with Automake 1.8.3 and
it has now been replaced with a bug fixed version - 1.8.4 :-


ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/automake/automake-1.8.4.tar.gz


Are the OS/2 patches likely to work with this new version? Is there any
point in trying to apply them?

They told me they would apply all patches in 1.8.4.
